Tube life was an appropriate response to my first week at the new job. Things are mostly settling now—Dupont Circle, the crazy acronyms of telecommunications, etc.—but it’s still tiring to the point where I am so, so ready to enjoy the summer on the weekends and after work (when not collapsing).
